Job Description:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Primary responsibilities will involve maintaining the portfolio accounting system and enhancing internal/external reporting. Tasks will include:

  • Oversee the daily and monthly cash and position reconciliations process for the portfolio accounting system; investigate and resolve discrepancies with counterparties/brokers/administrators

  • Process interest and principal payments and factor updates for various products in the portfolio; ensure entries are properly recorded in portfolio accounting system

  • Verify daily pricing of all positions across the portfolio in the portfolio accounting system

  • Responsible for trade settlement and confirmation process with trading counterparties.

  • Process and reconcile margin calls (i.e., variation and initial margin) for OTC derivatives and repos

  • Actively monitor and analyze the portfolio for capabilities and accuracy

  • Liaise with the Investment team and work with Technology and the Finance group to develop new reports and tools used to enhance internal and investor reporting

  • Coordinate set up and onboarding of new funds

Qualifications:

 

·    4-6 years buy side operational experience including transaction processing 

  • VPM (Visual Portfolio Manager) Portfolio Accounting,  Bloomberg & Reporting system experience preferred

  • Prior experience with fixed income, FX, derivatives, repurchase financing a plus

  • Advanced Excel skills required

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while prioritizing deliverables and meeting demanding deadlines
