We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst located in our Hartford, CT office.

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining critical financial analyses to support corporate functions and affiliated investment managers. The position will report to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis.


  • Assist in preparation of quarterly earnings release and earnings presentation
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial material to support Board of Directors’ meetings
  • Assist in executing all aspects of preparation, integration, consolidation, and analysis of the annual planning process
  • Assist in consolidating AUM information for monthly and quarterly reporting
  • Develop revenue and expense analyses to support monthly and quarterly financial reviews
  • Maintain and enhance affiliate level profitability models and quarterly affiliate management reports
  • Assist in modeling monthly calculations of retail sales incentive payments
  • Assist with competitor analysis activities
  • Assist with internal financial reporting process and preparation of CFO back-up materials
  • Assist in preparing 15-C board reporting and compliance documentation


  • Bachelors degree and 3-6 years of experience preferred. Applies expertise and knowledge of a specific technical or functional area; CPA, MBA, or CFA Preferred; Experience with IBM, Cognos, TM1 planning system or equivalent preferred
  • Solves moderately complex problems
  • Exchanges complex information effectively to reach agreement in ambiguous or difficult situations
  • Works independently under limited supervision
  • Collaborates with fellow team members to achieve objectives within the project timeline
