Tom Murphy, Co-Founder - Crestview

After receiving his AB from Princeton and his MBA from Harvard, Tom Murphy started his career at Goldman Sachs, where he remained for eighteen years. For the latter half, he was responsible for their investment banking activities with private equity firms around the world. Tom retired from Goldman Sachs in 2003, but returned to the workforce in 2004 to co-found Crestview with his partner, Barry Volpert. Tom is currently a Director of FBR & Co. and Key Safety Systems. He is on several boards, including The Greenwich Country Day School, The Inner-City Scholarship Fund, and the NYU Langone Medical Center.
