Robert Nolan Jr. received a B.S./B.A. from Georgetown University and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. Bob spent three years practicing law before joining the TMT group at Goldman Sachs to pursue a career in finance. After working there for nine years, Bob became the Telecommunications Group Head at UBS Securities and subsequently Managing Director and Head of Media & Telecommunications Investment Banking at CIBC World Markets. In 2001, he became the CEO of BMO Private Equity group, overseeing an investment portfolio with $800 million in capital. Five years later, he spun the group out independently as Halyard Capital where he now serves as Managing Partner and chairs the Investment Committee for the two respective funds totaling more than $600 million.
