Position Details

The Goldman Sachs Reinsurance Group ("GSRG") is a proprietary principalling/investing business that pursues opportunities across several unique and non-correlated risk classes, traditionally the province of the reinsurance market, and operates a number of wholly-owned subsidiary companies.  The group's businesses include Property and Casualty reinsurance, Life and Annuity Reinsurance, and a Longevity markets business focused on the growing market for the assumption and disposition of longevity/mortality risks - those risks created by the dynamics of aging populations. 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES
Modeling and structuring transactions, including longevity/mortality swaps and bond.
Preparing presentation materials for client meetings
Working with clients, senior members of the Reinsurance Group, sales, legal, compliance, credit and trading to execute transactions

Position Requirements


QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
2 years experience in an analyst role involving modeling of cash flows in a client/ counterparty facing group
Attention to detail/ ability to multi-task on time-sensitive projects
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative, demonstrated ability to help manage a multi-stream projects; able to work independently and has confidence to work with senior people
Proficiency with Excel
