JEFFERIES METRO-BOSTON OFFICE
Located in the heart of “America’s Technology Highway,” this Jefferies office has been dedicated to providing investment banking services since 1998. The office is mostly comprised of TMT investment bankers and is in an office park that is home to more than a dozen venture capital firms and is widely considered to be "Sand Hill Road – East.”
The office has executed on some of Jefferies’ landmark transactions including the March 2007 sales of Kronos to Hellman & Friedman for $1.8B, Vertrue to One Equity Partners for $800M, and MapInfo to Pitney Bowes for $472M. Other recent high profile advisory roles include lead book-runner on the $132M initial public offering of Vitacost.com in September 2009 (first e-commerce IPO in two years), purchase of Gevity by TriNet (General Atlantic portfolio company), and advisor to the Special Committee of iBasis.
