Investment Strategy Group - Tactical Asset Allocation - Fixed Income Specialist, VP
Position Details
The Investment Strategy Group (ISG) - within Goldman Sachs’ Private Wealth Management - has responsibility for strategic and tactical asset allocation views for the firm’s high net worth clients and certain institutions. The role of a member of ISG is very broad and includes research and analysis across a wide range of asset classes. Intellectual curiosity, strong analytical skills, and multitasking ability are all critical.
The fixed income specialist will help guide the team's yield curve forecasts as well as assist in the formulation of specific investment recommendations across fixed income markets. The primary areas of research/investment focus will be municipal, government and corporate credit (both investment grade and high yield). The person could also have the responsibility to follow REITs and generate investment recommendations.

Position Requirements
Qualifications:
• Direct fixed income investment or research experience
• Direct real estate investment or research experience a plus but not necessary
• Advanced degree in finance or economics and/or CFA a plus
• Experience developing and defending investment ideas and/or macro views a plus
• Comfortable taking initiative and being resourceful/entrepreneurial
• Excellent analytical/quantitative skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal as the person will contribute to the communication of views to the rest of the PWM business
