Position Description: AlphaWise is a bespoke research team within Morgan Stanley Research. AlphaWise offers investment ideas to clients and analysts through actionable proprietary research. Our insights and forecasts are grounded in primary-sourced information. Our approach emphasizes data-drive conclusions, robustness and predictiveness.

 

AlphaWise is looking for an analyst with 4-5 years equity research experience in retail sector either on the buy-side or sell-side. The role involves working with buy-side clients and trading desks to develop proprietary edge on retail names. We are looking for a candidate who can work independently, drive investment discussions in the retail sector, and has a passion for proprietary research. The candidate should be entrepreneurial and have a desire to build AlphaWise’s client business. The role resides in our New York office.
