Main Function
The Intermediate Web Application Developer will be responsible for supporting the existing infrastructure as well as develop new technologies.

A candidate for this position must be able to work in a varied, fast paced environment. Flexibility and tolerance is a necessity. The ideal candidate must display excellent problem solving skill and organization abilities.

Main Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned as required):
- Develop new client facing Web applications and Web pages
- Maintain and enhance existing Web applications and all internal systems are integrated.
- Perform complete testing of Web applications–unit and system, engaging users as necessary.
- Design and implement user-driven templates, databases and interfaces for ease of use.
- Develop database-driven Web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing.
- Candidate must be a team player and willing to teach and to learn.

- Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications.
- Self motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
- Experience with hardware and software issues.
- Proficient in Internet Web development
- Proficient in Linux batch/scripts development
- Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, MIS, or related experience.
- Must possess superior skills in web development.
- Must possess years experienced and extensive knowledge in web development tools such as Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlet, Javascripts, HTML, AJAX, JMS, Weblogic, etc
- Adobe Flex and Flash video/animation experience a plus
- Must possess superior skills in SQL.
- Experience in structured environment with increasing levels of responsibility and complexity.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work additional hours as needed.
- Respond proactively to training, technical support and customer service needs in line with provided guidelines.
