Position Details

Responsible for planning, developing and implementing systems and processes for capturing, accessing, managing and analyzing data necessary to support the Compensation Department and HR Generalists.

 Develop and maintain consistent data practices, enhance information quality, reduce redundancy in data management and reporting. Develop and maintain metrics used for solving problems and making decisions by performing mass data updates, imports, exports, data scrub, and research any reporting/data discrepancies.

Ongoing development and monitoring of compensation databases, data quality and confidentiality standards.

Responsible for extracting data from the HR system and providing local, regional and global reporting on a regular or ad-hoc basis.

Perform extensive data analysis/reporting, such as base/cash bonus/stock and other long term plans, and market pay data.

Develops and/or participates in compensation survey analysis process to analyze compensation information to determine company's competitive position.    

Ensure accuracy and integrity of all data entered, data analysis, and assures that information is available on a timely basis.      

 

Reports to the Director, Compensation and has regular interactions with the regional and global Compensation team as well as the business.

Key part of this role is to ensure that the reporting and analysis requirements of the business and other areas are met along with the production and development of reporting in line with business requirements

Position Requirements

Needs outstanding skills in software applications, especially HRMS databases (such as SAP, PeopleSoft,) and advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, building formulas and charts). Knowledge of Access and Business Objects and/or Crystal Reporting. Working knowledge of core compensation activities such as salary survey input and data generation. Project management experience in developing new databases and reporting systems.

Experience in commisions a must

Excellent analytical skills including the ability to analyze a variety of data, determine validity, draw conclusions and make recommendations.

Ability to interface with Compensation and HR partners to quickly understand data needs.

Must demonstrate strong teamwork skills and the ability to multi-task.

A business-related college degree and a minimum of 2 years compensation experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal and consultative skills including the ability to tactfully present difficult information.
